What is ITM and how is it calculated?

ITM stands for In the Money. It is the proportion of times you cash in a contest.

Combined with ROI, this can be a useful performance metric ‐ in head to head contests, for example, if your ITM is 50% or higher, you're outperforming your opponents. However, with site fees, this figure needs to be higher to make a profit. The fees on sites may vary, but this cut-off point is usually around 55%.

It is calculated with this simple formula:

ITM = (number of contests where money was won) / (number of contests entered) * 100
